Trump Administration Draws Bipartisan Pressure Over Russia ‘Bounty’ Intelligence

WASHINGTON—Republican and Democratic lawmakers united Monday about demands that the White Dwelling depth intelligence indicating Russia had compensated bounties to insurgents to have American forces killed in Afghanistan, and describe why President Trump apparently wasn’t briefed on the menace to U.S. troops.

Senior Republicans in Congress, who typically are supportive of Mr. Trump, mentioned that even if the intelligence is not yet absolutely verified, it need to be taken significantly and the president need to have been built aware of it.
