The Congress has asked the Telangana federal government to stage up attempts to procure paddy and maize to assist farmers tide more than the disaster.
“The federal government has promised that it would open up seven,five hundred procurement centres to invest in the total of rabi develop. But it opened only four,380 procurement centres,” he said.
He alleged that the farmers ended up facing challenges as procurement was not going on at complete scale.
“The federal government wants to ramp up paddy procurement at a substantially higher degree.
