This publication inspired the establishments to introduce 13 gender equality steps, this sort of as introducing a code of carry out, supplying a re-entry grant immediately after loved ones breaks, and location up a women’s executive board, all developed to signify the passions of feminine scientists inside of the organisation.

The task also created a methodology to guide maritime scientists through a established of inquiries drawn up to assistance them contemplate how gender might be related for the style and design, implementation and final result of their tasks.
