Mexican Church, Leader Sued in Los Angeles on Sexual Abuse Allegations

LOS ANGELES—A girl who claimed she was sexually abused and trafficked submitted a lawsuit in federal courtroom here Wednesday versus La Luz del Mundo, a person of the premier religious businesses in Mexico, and its chief, Naasón Joaquín García.

Mr. García was arrested in Los Angeles previous 12 months and charged with much more than a dozen sex crimes, including rape, human trafficking and youngster pornography. He has pleaded not guilty.
