Intelligent Infrastructure: From the Edge to the Cloud

In the third of our 4-portion sponsored series on intelligent infrastructure, Laptop or computer Organization Review joins Hitachi Vantara CTO Tom Christensen to speak about scaling workloads throughout infrastructure – and in which to operate them.

As Christensen places it: “What workloads have in prevalent is that they all need somewhere to operate! But when you assess the infrastructure often individuals get in a place in which they do not have the right CPU, or sufficient memory.

“Often individuals pool all the assets then cross their fingers, as they have 10 workloads on it. When they all peak, that’s not good sufficient! So they want twenty five percent far more, but that may perhaps be unwanted. You could use a intake-primarily based model, so when you never use assets, you never pay for them.”
