Delhi farmers’ protests: Telangana farmers lend support

Farmers’ unions and non-governmental organisations in Telangana have declared their support to the protesting farmers in Delhi. They held a couple of dharnas and rasta rokos in Hyderabad ever because the farmers from Punjab and Haryana began their protest last week.

On Thursday, they organised rasta rokos in various sections of the Point out, demanding the Centre to repeal the three Agricultural Functions. In Hyderabad, they organised rasta roko at the RTC Cross roads. The law enforcement arrested the protesters and later produced them.

“The three Functions would hurt the pursuits of the farmers. They have been introduced and handed in Parliament in an undemocratic method,” T Sagar of Telangana Rythu Sangham said. “Lakhs of farmers are protesting in Delhi towards the Functions. The Federal government is making use of drive to disperse the protesting farmers,” he said.

Saying solidarity with the Delhi protesters, the All India Kisan Sangharsh Coordination Committee (AIKSCC) held a day-prolonged dharna at the Dharna Chowk near Indira Park two days in the past.

Vemulapalli Venkatramaiah, President of All India Kisan Mazdoor Sabha (AIKMS), alleged that the three Functions would make farmers suffer greatly.

“The minimum amount support charges (MSP) are barely enough to meet up with the precise value of creation. The farmers are not even finding the MSPs. If the MSP regime goes, they would conclusion up earning losses,” he said, addressing the dharna.
