Italian night 22 April 2006

An Italian themed evening was held on Saturday 22 April 2006 at St Francis Church Hall. We raised £400 which will be divided between Bristol Cancer Help Centre and Church funds. I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and have been using cancer point Services which are available to all those living with cancer and their supporters in Bristol and the Local area. Cancerpoint offers a wide range of complimentary therapies and self help techniques. I have had individual sessions in aromatherapy, reflexology, healing, nutritional advice and relaxation on a donation basis, and my husband Alistair has attended a supporters group. Cancerpoint services work hand in hand with medical treatment and offers a unique combination of physical, emotional and spiritual support. With their support and that of my family, friends and my church community at St Francis, I've learnt to live with my cancer. 'I've got cancer, it hasn't got me'.
For more information about Cancerpoint services 0117 9809500 Cpointbristolcancerhelp.org.

Thank you for all your support, its great to be able to give something back Love Becky, Al and Tilly.

St Francis Curry Night - 14 Jan 2006

Huge thanks to the Flying Fish and the team for their fantastic work on the Curry Night. Over eighty people came to enjoy great food, good conversation and wonderful live music.

Money raised went towards the South India Tsunami Victims appeal and an education project in Tamil Nadu region which helps poor farmers to develop organic farming methods.

Here's a glimpse of the team in action!
