St Aldhelm's is a welcoming community of ordinary people learning to worship God, love one another, and serve all people. Each week a wide range of folk meet here to worship and discover more about the love of God revealed to them through Jesus Christ.
St Aldhelm's is God's little secret tucked away in the heart of Bedminster. It is our hope that more and more people will discover God's love and establish a personal relationship with Christ. We do not pretend to have all the answers but are beginning to be changed by our experience of God.
St Aldhelm's is a friendly, lively and popular church, which has served the area for generations. But the church is more than just a building. Its lifeblood is its people, who worship together and share in its many activities. Our main service is on Sunday mornings and our congregation is made up of every age range. After services there are refreshments, and chance to have a chat.
We do hope you enjoy your visit to our site and hope that you visit us in person in the near future.
Prayer Breakfast 9am Every Sunday
A group went to Holy Trinity Brompton in London to a prayer conference. We were so inspired by what we heard God was doing through faithful prayer that we felt we must respond Immediately. So we have set up a regular prayer breakfast every Sunday morning between 9-10am. We want to see lives changed by the power of Gods Holy Spirit so we pray for our communities, our Church Family, our Services and Gods World. Its ever so easy to get up just one hour earlier on a Sunday morning, honestly, especially when you are rewarded by seeing God at work in peoples lives. If you can't make it but have an issue you would like us to pray for please contact:Tanyalord@aol.com

2007 is our centenary year and we are planning a series of events throughout the year starting in June. We would like to get in touch with people connected with the Church particulaly those who were married, confirmed or baptised in St Aldhelms and invite them to share in the celebrations. Perhaps you were in the choir or attended one of the uniformed organisations (scouts, cubs, guides or brownies) or maybe you attended the Mothers' Union. Whatever your involvement has been with St Aldhelm's over the years, we would be delighted to hear from you. carolaroweblueyonder.co.uk
