RE:FRESH (BS3)

We are in the process of setting up a Christian coffee shop and drop in centre with a Foodbank (which distributes free food parcels) and Prayer room. We would like to offer opportunities  of prayer/prophetic ministry and healing to those interested. In the longer term we hope to offer advice and debt counseling as well as various courses such as life recovery & communication skills,  parenting skills, facilities for single parents, English literacy and as a foreign language, Arts & dance, healthy eating, job-hunting skills, rehabilitation workshops, setting up businesses, meals & activities for various groups who live in the area and Alpha.

VISION

Our vision for BS3 & South Bristol is Isaiah 61 ‘you have anointed us to preach good news to the poor’ and Isaiah 35 ' the desert and parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom.........' - We aim to build Christian community and unity in BS3 amongst different Christian individuals, groups and the unchurched.
We hope to build an Altar of God’s Presence & extend God's Kingdom in the area by offering local people the chance to experience God’s touch of healing and blessing through the coffee shop, prayer room and practical community services.

VENUE:

MEETINGS:

Fellowship with vibrant spirit-filled worship, bible study,  prayer, outreach & community with a vision to see a  positive spiritual and practical transformation of Bedminster. This is a totally inter-church group which seeks to bless BS3 and the local community.

8pm on alternate Wednesdays – worship, bible study, prayer support, prophecy

8pm on alternate Wednesdays – prayer and planning for coffee shop, foodbank, drop-in centre, building etc. with monthly meal and or socials

7.30am – 8.30am Tuesday mornings – Prayer & Intercession for Bedminster

South Bristol Prayer Room once established - there will be further times of prayer.

Monthly on Saturdays – Outreach via Treasure Hunting and Healing on the Streets.

IHOP & other international ministries

IHOP – Intercession; Healing; Outreach; Offerings to the Poor; Prophecy

-  To build Community ie. offer prayer, community, fellowship & support to Christians who join us (especially single people, who can often feel marginalized)
-  To set up an International House of Prayer with a link to
-  To do outreach in various forms eg. Set up Treasure Hunting and Healing on the streets evangelism teams; run Alpha courses
-  To raise up the Prophetic gift to bring encouragement & release to people
-  To set up a coffee shop with a ministry to the marginalised & unchurched people who live in BS3
-  In the longer term to offer meals & activities to various groups who live in the area

PEOPLE WE SEEK TO JOIN US:

-  Volunteers to help run the Coffee Shop, servers, caterers, listeners, people to pray
-  Musicians, singers
-  Intercessors & those with a heart for prayer & a prayer/worship house
-  Evangelists to reach local people & internationals
-  People to pray to join a Healing on the streets team
-  People with a heart for BS3 and who want to see transformation  of the area
